Nykole has always had a tremendous love for all animals, especially dogs so after leaving the corporate life behind in 2015, she began her grooming career under the instruction of a certified pet groomer and former instructor of Texas Allbreed Grooming School. She then trained under a certified show groomer to improve her skills to compete in shows. She still continues to further her grooming education by regularly attending educational seminars and classes throughout the country keeping up with all the latest styles, projects, health and handling techniques. Nykole and her husband are owned by 2 Standard Poodles, 2 Brussels Griffons, and 1 Toy Poodle (who thinks he runs the salon). Her passion for grooming and her love of animals shows in everything she does.

Julia always loved dogs and knew she would work with them one day. She started grooming school in 2005 and has worked at many salons since then, she has learned something new everywhere she's been. Her and her husband have two furry family members: a short-legged Jack Russell, and an Australian Shepherd.

Angela learned to groom at HipPups in 2018! She has since explored asian fusion and breed standards for grooming dogs. She also has a passion for training and behavior. Angela has a house full of dogs: Silken Windhounds and an Alaskan Malamute. Most of who compete in conformation shows and or sports.

Summer graduated form UNT in 2016 with a BFA in sculpture and quickly found a job grooming. She immediately fell in love love with it! She feels incredibly lucky to have found herself in a career that combines her two main passions: dogs and art. Panda and Domino are two large mixed breed dogs that allow her to live with them.

Lindsey has always had a passion for dogs, even from a young age when she had stuffed dogs covering her bed and shelves. She started in the vet industry as a kennel tech before attending grooming school and starting at Hip Pups soon after graduation. Outside of the salon, she does all types of creative projects and writing at home, alongside her kitty Lillie and her dog Nessie.

Meet Percy! He is a 4 year old Toy Poodle and coincidentally the poster boy for HipPups! He has spent his entire life in a grooming salon and is experienced in customer service and client relations. Along with being a well seasoned treat connoisseur, he enjoys greeting everyone that stops by whether it's a pup getting pampered or a person looking for their pups next favorite treat (Percy recommends ALL of the treats and has personally tried them all) he enjoys all of the attention he gets when sporting the latest fashion looks in creative grooming. Whether it's a fashionable, yet subtle jewel accent or feather extension. Or even as bold as a vibrant color transformation. Percy hopes to someday make it big as a pup influencer and trend setter.
